BLACK LIVES MATTER

Like many of you this has been one of the toughest weeks of my life. To see so much hate bubble to the surface in response to us fighting for our lives to be worth something.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

To see raw emotion expressed in so many different ways. The fear in some,  the justified anger in many, and the hate leaking out of this country that was built on racism.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

Racism is so deeply ingrained in America that when I say that my life has value or to stop killing us there are people that have a rebuttle.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

If this sentiment provokes a contrasting response or angers you in the slightest then please ask yourself again what exactly you are fighting for.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

We are desperately fighting for the right to be comfortable in our own beautiful skin, to not be scared to go to certain places and to do certain things.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

If you are uncomfortable with all the protests and outrage that has occurred in the last week then that is a good thing. No one in America should be comfortable right now. We should all be active and non-complacent in these times.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

I am guilty because I was once silent and I am sorry. I was so used to racism that I thought it was a normal part of everyday life in America and just something we had to deal with.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

This treatment is not acceptable and should not be tolerated. So until our voice is properly heard we will scream loud with all of our hearts.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

All I can say to any antagonist to the movement is that I hope one day all that hate and jealousy is removed from your heart.

I've felt so much rage that I temporarily lost sight of how many people were here to support me. How many people from different races and different places have shown support for what we're fighting for.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

Showing compassion for our passion is an integral step in progress being made. I love everyone who has spoken out to fight this injustice by standing with us.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

Keep fighting every single day. Keep screaming every single day.
